What you'll do:

As a DevOps / System Admin, you will collaborate with the development team and develop and design systems that ensure the greatest amount of uptime for our customers. Build and maintain a fully autonomous systems that scale across multiple data centers.

  • This role is responsible for the automation and maintenance for our core infrastructure.
  • Working alongside the development staff the ensure appropriate resources are available for the current or next product launch.
  • Leverage scripting and programming tools to make process scalable and repeatable in different environments.
  • Operate and manage AWS / hybrid data center infrastructure in different countries.
  • Design and operate ELBs, databases, migrations, cloud formation templates and more.

 

What we look for:

  • 5+ Years of Experience
  • Ability to use wide variety of open source technologies and tools
  • Capability to code and script process and manual jobs
  • Experience with IT systems and Operations (IT / OT)
  • Full understanding of development life cycle
  • Strong grasp of automation tools
  • Data management skills
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication and reaching across functional borders
  • Deep understand about data abstraction
  • Understands Web Services (SOAP & Rest)
  • Working knowledge of Non-SQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB)
  • Relational database experience
  • Working knowledge of AWS
  • This position is located in Portland, OR.  Travel is likely not required.
