What you’ll do:

We are looking for a competitive Field Sales/Acquisition Manager to develop and execute sales strategies and attract new clients. You will source new acquisition opportunities and close these opportunities to achieve quotas. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income, revenue and future expansion by managing and negotiating with clients; by generating leads, qualifying prospects and acquiring quality customers that are best for our program. This position will report to the VP of Acquisition & Fulfillment while working in conjunction with the deployment team and directors.

  • “Secure the customer” using various sales and pipeline generation methods (cold calling, relationship sales, presentations, networking, upselling, etc.)
  • Forecast sales, weekly and monthly, to VP or Director to ensure program compliance and achievement of quotas
  • Develop “out of the box” strategies/models and evaluate their effectiveness
  • Evaluate customers’ accounts/sites and build productive long, lasting, relationships
  • Meet personal and team sales targets
  • Research accounts and generate prospects in order to maintain a plentiful pipeline
  • Attend meeting, events and trainings to keep abreast of the latest developments
  • Report and provide feedback to management using financial statistical data
  • Expand and maintain client relationships and database within your assigned territory

 

What we look for:

  • Proven sales/acquisition experience, (Utility or Electronics Industry experience preferred)
  • Track record of over-achieving quotas and targets, familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
  • Valid driver’s license and travel documentation required
  • Experience working with CRM as well as without
  • BA/BS degree or 5 years of experience in similar role
  • Computer use competency (word, powerpoint, excel, webex, etc.)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal skills and contract negotiation
  • This position is based in or near the assigned utility service territory will require local travel
